In 1960, with the financial assistance of Germany, a part of applied Mechanics, the depict of flood mechanism was established. The lab has full facilities for experimental and computation research in fluid mechanics. The lab concentates on turbulance external fluids. It takes 10 graduate students pursuing PG and doctorial research. The information may be available in www.iitm.ac.in.
