No for Science Stream in Engineering Colleges - AICTE

Engineering Colleges are meant for Engineering stubjects?  Of late, these Engineering Colleges run parallel Science teaching branches. Of course it is good! What is the focus? Is it for really develop science aptitude! or to maintain the profit & Loss? Most of the Engineering Private Institutions do not want miss not even a single opportunity of income through Edu selling.
 
At this juncture All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) prohibit Engineering Colleges from offering Science based courses.  Is it good or not good!
 
Around 43 Engineering Colleges in the state of Tamil Nadu, So for, offering course like Applied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Technology and Integrated Courses in software Engineering.  It seems these courses are popular among the students.
