 Education – Archaeology

 Modhur, a village near Dharmapuri attracts historians. It is found that the village had been inhabited since Neolithic age about ten thousand and probably the capital of Athiyaman kingdom. Many evidences which include stone hammers, grinding stone, rubbing stones, stone balls and Mother Goddess statue made of Terra Cotta are found here.
