The matriculation supplementary examination will begin from June 10, president of the Board of Secondary Education D P Nanda announced here on Friday. The examination, which will continue till June 20, will start from 7.30 am instead of 9 am.
"In the wake of the heat, we have decided to conduct supplementary examination in the early morning hours," said Nanda. He said supplementary examination students will be given question-cum-answer booklets. The form fill up will be done on May 17 and 18.
Over 50,000 students are expected to appear in the examination this year. Even the board has also decided to allow the students booked for malpractice to write the supplementary exam. Earlier, the students held for cheating during matriculation exam were barred from appearing the examination for one year. This year, at least 8,440 students were booked for malpractice.
