The Democratic Alliance of Nagaland government would give opportunity to the younger generation to explore new avenues so that their full potential and talent could be harnessed.
Stating this, Minister for School Education, C M Chang called upon students to make their activities an inspiration for future generations.
Speaking as chief guest at the inaugural session of the 25th general conference of the apex Naga Students Federation, he said "This in turn can help the young people in their personal life and in the socio-economic development of our state."
Calling on students to to remove corruption in Naga society, he said "corruption does not mean only in money matters, but in our dealings, manner and behaviour."
Chairman of North East Students Organisation Samuel B Jyrwa said "Most important is that we are non political in nature and work for the good of the people."
The three-day would have competitions and interactive sessions, besides election of a new team of NSF officials for 2013-2015.
