Recognising the lack of opportunities that provide insights into the Indian legislative system, a youth-led think tank and research organisation, Alexis Foundation, will be organising its Indian Governance Forum (IGF).
Organised in association with Model Governance Foundation, International Policy Analysis Network and the International Forum for Leadership and Sustainability, IGF is scheduled to be conducted between June 28 and 30, 2013, at Dharamsala and Mcleodganj in Himachal Pradesh. Its course has been structured to provide participants hands on experience about the regular issues dealt by the Indian legislature through the legislative assembly, Lok Sabha and the Indian Council of Ministers.
Through various seminars, mock deliberations, debates and other events, IGF aims to offer participants the opportunity to understand practical aspects of the Indian governance and experience its decision making process. It is open to young leaders, entrepreneurs, students, researchers, civil society activists, journalists and environmentalists from all over the India.
