The total number of seats up for grabs available this year stands at 2.72 lakh from 2.65 lakh last year.

Every year, both in the offline and online admission process, students rush for seats to a few colleges. "Seats at many junior colleges attached to schools go vacant. Hopefully, this won't happen this year as well," the office said. The booklet explaining online admission is available at all schools.

The process will begin after the SSC results are announced.
