In addition to transforming the ActivClassroom’s visual and experiential design, each major product line boasts significant upgrades and updates. Designed to cultivate immersive, collaborative learning environments by expanding its features, tools and resource integration capabilities, Promethean’s new series starts with the feature-rich ActivBoard 300 Pro, complete with integrated sound and dual input/user capability. When combined with Promethean’s new motorized height-adjustable stand and 3D-enabled DLP projector, the new ActivBoard+2 solutions represent a gateway to an unending universe of learning!
Breakthrough enhancements to ActivInspire, Promethean’s celebrated teaching and curriculum development software, combine with ActivExpression to empower students to learn at their own pace while giving teachers even more advanced, immediate assessment capabilities. The all-new ActiView camera, a visual presenter that facilitates the sharing of information and 3D objects, enables students to collectively engage in any lesson. Other new releases and updates include Promethean’s ActivSound, ActivArena, ActivPens, ActivSDK, ActivSlate and ActivWand.

At the center of the new line is the ActivBoard 300 Pro, a feature-rich upgrade and direct replacement for the current ActivBoard -. With built-in speakers, an integrated amplifier, and two USB ports, Dual User input, and ActivInspire Professional Edition, the ActivBoard 300 Pro transforms the classroom into a 360-degree educational environment.
The ActivBoard 300 is the perfect upgradable platform. ActivInspire: ActivInspire, the heart of the ActivClassroom, also unveils exciting new features. Available in 22 languages, ActivInspire 1.2 Professional Edition introduces Self-Paced Learning, providing a huge leap in enhancement to ActivExpression, Promethean’s popular Learner Response System.
Self-Paced Learning gives real-time, immediate response details for each and every student, question by question, enabling teachers to identify individual needs and address them as required. Combining progression of questions with an increase in difficulty; differentiation is achieved on a per pupil basis allowing students to work at their own pace and level. Questions are relayed to individual devices while a clever, colour-coded teacher screen displaying results in an easy, comprehensive manner.
