Nandita Tonse, a final year computer engineering student of KJ Somaiya Institute of Engineering and Information Technology, was recently announced as the winner of the regional finals of the 'Present around the World (PATW) 2013’ competition. Awarded with a cash prize of Rs12,000, Tonse, will be one among five finalists to represent India at the South Asia finals which will be held later this year.
PATW is a presentation competition organised by the IET for engineering professionals between the age group of 18 to 26 years. Participants are required to make a ten-minute technical presentation on any subject related to engineering and technology, followed by a Q&A session with an expert panel of judges. The international championship, held in London every year, brings together winners from across 36 countries to compete in the finals held at Savoy Place in London for a cash prize of £1,000
