Pearson VUE, a division of Pearson, will deliver the Law School Admission Test—India from 15 highly secure test centres across the country. Over 60 law colleges across India including Jindal Global Law School, RGSOIPL, the IIT Kharagpur Law School, UPES Dehradun, ITM Gurgaon and KLE Bangalore have recognised the LSAT—India scores as one of the admissions criteria for their institutes.
Scheduled for May 19, the test is created by the global non-profit Law School Admission Council (LSAC) and assesses critical-thinking skills, logical reasoning, problem-solving skills and traits that are needed for a successful career in law.
Dan Bernstine, president, LSAC, said, “The growing acceptance of LSAT—India reaffirms the fact that law schools across the country understand the benefits of reasoning-based tests for candidate selection.”
