Kerala-based game development company Csharks will be conducting 'Game Srishti', a game development contest for students.
The aim of organising such a contest was to provide opportunities and recognition for young talented and creative game developers, a company press release said.
Game Srishti is open to games in all common platforms including PC's, tablets, Android and Web based platforms.
Targeting college student developers, Game Srishti gives a time-frame of two months in which to develop and share the game, where it shall be evaluated by a team of experts.
Students get a time frame from April one to May 30, to develop and upload their application online and share it via email to [email protected].
Csharks which works on Flash, HTML5 and Unity for Web, PC, iPhone, iPad and Android, has also developed online multi player games, Adver Games, E-learning games, and game applications for social networks.
According to NASSCOM, the Indian gaming market is close to USD900 million, the statement said.
