TAIS enters into partnership with SportsMentor Pvt. Ltd

The Association of International Schools of India entered into a partnership with SportsMentor Pvt. Ltd, a scientific sports education programme for school children, with the objective of identifying talent and training students to represent the country at international competitions like the Youth Olympic Games.

The agreement also mandates SportsMentor to conduct the TAISI National Sports Championships from 2013 -2014 to 2018 - 2019. The competition is scheduled to be held every November at a TAISI member school in the country.

The winners of the TAISI National Championship will be trained further with the target of earning medals at international sports competitions. The tournament targets 300 plus schools under various International Boards, to participate in the competition.

Anu Monga, chair of TAISI, said, "The integration of science in sports training will not only help our students perform better but also ensures that they understand the science through sports. We are committed to contributing towards India's sporting future."
