Arts and Science colleges closed following student protests over Lankan Tamils issue reopens on March 25

Arts and Science colleges across Tamil Nadu, which were closed following student protests over the Sri Lankan Tamils issue, will reopen on March 25.

The colleges were closed on March 15, sources said.

However, there was no confirmed information on the reopening date for engineering colleges, which were also closed following student protests, they said.

Students have been staging protests and demonstrations across Tamil Nadu, demanding the Centre to vote against Sri Lanka in the US backed resolution in the UNHRC.
