Puducherry: Puducherry-based Integra Software Services Private Ltd. will ink an MoU with Puducherry government sponsored Women's Polytechnic and introduce a certificate course in e-publishing.
Announcing the highlights of the three-month course at a press conference here today, S Sriram, founder and Managing Director of Integra Software said 30 candidates, selected through a screening test, would be trained in the first batch, commencing on September four.
The course aims at realising Integra's Industry-Academica partnership initiative, under its corporate social responsibility programme, and creating employable and talented candidates.
This was the first time that such a programme had been designed and many such projects would be introduced in future, Sriram said.
The company would assist to set up an e-publishing lab and already 20 computers had been donated with requisite software servers, UPS and other allied network installations.
Principal of the Women's polytechnic G Rani said this job oriented course would help the students to get job opportunities.
BSc or BA graduates or those who have done any diploma course or those who are in final year of these degree courses could apply for the certificate course
