SP Jain, Dubai won the recent competition organised by the Logistics and supply chain solutions company, DHL Supply Chain, for their presentation on ‘Converting supply chain challenges in E-commerce as a potential differentiator’. Conducted in collaboration with IIT Bombay, the competition aimed to create awareness amongst management institutes of India and Dubai and engage them on the changing trends of supply chain in India.
The competition required students to bring their innovative perspective on supply chain improvements in key sectors while developing white papers on topics such as automotive packaging, the influence of e-commerce on the Indian retail industry and clinical trials in life sciences and healthcare. Shortlisted teams were required to make a presentation followed by a Q&A session to the jury consisting of the faculty of IIT Bombay, industry experts from TATA Motors, Abbott Healthcare, Croma Retail, DHL Supply Chain and others. The event attracted participation from institutes, such as NMIMS, Welingkar, BITS Pilani, SP Jain Institute of Management and Research.
