Delhi: EMC India, leader in information infrastructure solutions announced that IIHT Ltd. has joined the EMC Education Learning Partner (ELP) program. The program is designed to meet the growing demand for skills in Information Storage and Management across India and it features a technology curriculum focused on providing students with the skills to design and manage IT infrastructures.
Partners under this program work with EMC to prepare the next generation of IT professionals the background they need to meet the needs of the growing Information Economy.
IIHT, a leader in IT Infrastructure Management training, will offer three courses to students on Information Management. The Information Storage and Management (ISM) course will introduce students to an 'open' storage curriculum that is focused on concepts and principles rather than product specifics. It will provide a comprehensive introduction to storage technology, enabling participants to make more informed decisions about information storage and management in context of a company's infrastructure, regardless of storage platform.
A more specialized course Storage Networking Design and Management (SNDM) builds on the technology concepts and helps participants apply it to real-world scenarios when designing, deploying, and managing storage networking solutions. The Information Availability Design and Management (IADM) course challenges students to apply information availability requirements into real-world scenarios, such as business impact analysis and technology design considerations.
The courses are all designed to help fill the current shortage gap of skilled professionals in the IT industry. These EMC courses will be a part of IIHT's GIMS, GNet Pro and other career offerings.
