The UP Board examinations would be held under tight security. More than 1.28 lakh students will appear in the High School and Intermediate examinations under the invigilation of 6,000 teachers in the district from March 12.
The rules for invigilators and punishment for using unfair means during the examinations have been amended.
The authorities have divided the district into 12 zones and 16 sectors, where special squad will be placed to curb cheating. Each zone will have 10 to 12 examination centres.
Eleven centres had been identified as hypersensitive and 68 as sensitive.Sources in the DIOS office pointed out that the hypersensitive centres have been identified as Acharya Kautilya Inter College (Bidhnoo), Pandit Madan Mohan Shukla Inter College (Katara), BP Inter College (Lakshmanpur), Raghuraj Inter College (Katara), GBM Inter College (Kalchuripur), Parmulal Higher Secondary (Bisdhan), Raj Narai Inter College (Subhua), Moaku Shailendra Inter College (Chatin) and others.
Some of the sensitive centres are Mahatma Gandhi Inter College (Vijay Nagar), MM Ali Inter College (Becanganj), SD Shiksha Niketan (Gujjaini), Subhash Balika (Saket Nagar), CB Raman Inter College (Panki) Ranna Devi (Ghatampur), Vijay Singh Yadav Inter College (Gangaganj).
Komal Yadav, district inspector of schools, said, "Special mobile squads have been created to monitor the examinations. Centre incharges have been given magisterial powers within the campus. Principals and administrative officials have been appointed as centre incharges."
Yadav said that the practical examinations of science and arts were completed in February. Question papers and answer books have been dispatched to respective centres and adequate security personnel deployed. The admit cards have reached on Saturday which were distributed to schools on Monday. The process will continue till the entire admit cards are distributed.
