Anurag Behar, Chief Sustainability Officer of Wipro Limited, said at a function here, "The programme intends to create spaces for sustainability learning and action within the education process in schools and colleges."
In its second edition, the Earthian programme received over 2,000 registrations and 900 submissions from across the globe, he said.
The winners were selected on the basis of their comprehensive understanding of issues, exploring various nuances of complexity and providing clear arguments for grounded approaches, Behar said.
The selected institutions would become part of a three-year continuous engagement programme, he added.
The experiences combine conceptual understanding with practical activities that can be used in the everyday learning process within the institute and their community, Behar said.
