Chhattisgarh government to soon introduce youth skill development bill in the Assembly

Chief Minister Raman Singh said, Chhattisgarh Government will make a new law to facilitate skill-based training for youths of the state.

Besides, the state government will establish a special centre aimed at conservation of rich tribal art, culture and tradition of Bastar region.

He further said, "To make youths more skilled by providing them professional training in several streams, the Government will soon introduce youth skill development bill in the Assembly which will facilitate skill-based training to youths."

He was addressing a gathering at the state-level convention of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM). The three- day convention of the BJP youth wing kicked-off on Feb 12.

"A special study centre will also be opened in the state to conserve the tribal culture, art and tradition of Bastar region," Singh said.

The Chief Minister announced the decision to establish a sports university to provide a platform to emerging talents.

"A university will be established in the state which will offer courses like sports medicine, sports economy, sports journalism, sports psychology along with education on several other related subjects," he said.

As part of celebrations of 150th birth anniversary year of Swami Vivekananda, youths from Chhattisgarh will be sent on a trip to his memorial in Kanyakumari, Singh said.

The youth has immense power to bring revolutionary metamorphosis in the society, he maintained and appealed them to enthusiastically take part in development process.
