Delhi government asked its education department to provide result-oriented and meaningful education to students.
"We wish to see that Delhi becomes a state where we can see 100 per cent result of our students in board examinations. For this, teachers should ensure their full devotion in preparing students," Education Minister Kiran Walia said.
She told a meeting of senior officials of the education department that there was need to sensitise teachers about their duties towards their students so that they can guide them in the best possible manner.
Walia said providing best education to students was the priority and prime duty of the government.
She said those students appearing in the Board examination, if needed, should be provided with counselling facilities by the Directorate of Education so that they can appear in the examination without any hesitation and fear.
