The Central Institute of Tool Design (CITD), Hyderabad, is inviting applications for its M.Tech. and PG Diploma programmes in Mechatronics, a new interdisciplinary subject of mechanical engineering and electronics and PG Diploma in CAD/CAM for Tool Engineering (PGDCTE).
MoU signed
The institute has signed an MoU with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad to start the M.Tech programme with 25 seats. B.Tech. graduates in Mechanical, Electronics, Production, Electrical, Instrumentation, Automobile engineering or equivalent branches with minimum 55 per cent marks are eligible to apply for both the Mechtronics courses. Industry can sponsor five candidates for M.Tech. programme.
Those who have completed their B.Tech with Mechanical, Production or allied branches are eligible for the Post Graduate Diploma in CAD/CAM for Tool Engineering.
This course is a combination of CAD/CAM/CAE Software training and Tool Engineering. The courses offered by CITD enjoy a great reputation in industry and high demand in job market, said a press release from the institute.
