TN Dr. MGR Medical University release list of institutions affiliated to the University to caution parents

Keeping in view of cautioning parents and students, the Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University recently released the list of institutions that are affiliated to the University.

Warning parents and students, the varsity has told that those who are pursuing a course in any institution other than those mentioned below will be doing at their own risk. The University also categorically stated that it will not register or conduct examinations for students of the non-affiliated institutions.

According to the varsity, the list includes all government medical colleges in Tamil Nadu.

Furthermore, the list also includes private self-financing medical colleges like Christian Medical College, Vellore; PSG Institute of Medical Science and Research, Coimbatore; IRT Perundurai Medical College, Perundurai; Sree Mookambika Institute of Medical Sciences, Kanyakumari; Melmaruvathur Adhiparasakthi Institute of Medical Science and Research, Melmaruvathur; Karpaga Vinayaga Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre, Kancheepuram; Chennai Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, Tiruchi; Sri Muthukumaran Medical College Hospital and Research Institute, near Mangadu; Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Medical College and Hospital, Perambalur; Annapoorna Medical College and Hospital, Chennai; and Karpagam Faculty of Medical Sciences and Research, Coimbatore.

To add on, the students and parents have also been advised to keep themselves updated periodically on additions/deletions of institutions by following the official website of the varsity (www.tnmgrmu.ac.in).
