Reacting to the comments of the archbishop of Goa and Daman, Filipe Neri Ferrao, on education, chief minister Manohar Parrikar said, "Our education policy is inclusive and, if someone has been left out, we will give them due representation."
Speaking to mediapersons, Parrikar said that when any religious leader speaks, he says "good things". "We will take cognizance of his statement and at the right time, definitely give them representation," Parrikar said.
Two days ago, the archbishop, addressing a Christmas get-together at Altinho, had raised concerns over the church in Goa, being the largest education provider in the state, and not being given adequate representation by the government in decision-making.
