5th edition of CIMA Global Business Challenge 2013

After four successful years, the 5th edition of the CIMA Global Business Challenge 2013 – a global case study competition for undergraduates, is all set to sail in India. What started with the participation of 5700 students from eight countries and 125 universities in 2009, has grown into a global competition with the participation of approximately 30,000 students from 22 different countries and 400 plus universities in 2012. With over 1, 25,000 viewers are engaged via internet, GBC 2012 saw a Facebook fan following of over 12,000 Indians and 30,000 worldwide.


It’s a global case study competition that includes full-time undergraduates. The toy industry is the case challenge for this year. Teams are expected to analyse, report and present their findings before an eminent panel of judges. Global level competition of Indian Winners GBC 2013 will be held in South Africa against the lead teams from 24 countries - Australia, Bangladesh, China, Ghana, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Ireland, Malaysia, the Middle East, Myanmar, Nepal, New Zealand, Pakistan, the Philippines, Poland, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Thailand, UK, Vietnam, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
