The Haryana government is considering a proposal to open a medical college on Private-Public-Partnership (PPP) mode in Rewari, a state minister said here.
The proposal and other details related to the project were being considered, Haryana Health Minister Rao Narender Singh in a function after inaugurating Saint Stephens Hospital and Health Care Facility in DLF Phase-III Gurgaon.
The state government was committed toward providing better healthcare facilities to the people, he said.
In this endeavour, the government is ready to help in establishing hospitals on PPP model besides improving the facilities in government hospitals, he said.
According to the health minister, the state government was taking concrete steps to overcome the shortage of medical specialists.
Four new government medical colleges were being set up in the state, he said.
