About 200 eminent agricultural scientists from across the country would assemble at the Birsa Agricultural University (BAU) from November 3 to 5 to discuss on farm productivity in the face of adverse impact of global climate change.
The BAU, in association with the Society of Agricultural Professionals (SAP), Kanpur, is organizing the three-day national symposium on ‘Agriculture production and protection in context of climate change, according to a BAU press release here.
The symposium will be inaugurated by Jharkhand Governor Syed Ahmed, the release added.
Prominent among those who confirmed participation include vice chancellor of the Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur, P K Sharma.
