Calcutta University's Pro Vice-Chancellor Dhrubajyoti Chattopadhyay said with the help of their partner organisations, which includes major academic and research institutes of the city, they are expecting at least 15,000 participants from all over the country.
"We have already started preparations for arranging the logistics of the summit, accommodation for the guests, etc," he told.
The ISC will focus on how new developing technologies can pave solutions for food and nutrition security, affordable health care, home land security, energy and environment, water, communication, commutation, sanitation and housing.

Members of the organising committee said this year the 'Pride of India' expo at the congress will have two new pavilions.
Under the international pavilion, various science and technology related co-operation aspects of India with other countries, proposed joint ventures and joint R&D projects would be showcased.
