Rajasthan government signs contract with 14 companies for imparting vocational training to unemployed youths

Over 90,000 unemployed youths of rural and urban areas will be imparted vocational training of one to three months in Rajasthan.

A contract was signed today for the purpose by the Rajasthan Skills and Livelihoods Development Mission with 14 companies.
 
Rajesh Yadav, MD of the Mission, which is an initiative of the state government, said the companies will impart training in 97 trades and make job opportunities available to the youths.

He said that the districts which do not have training centres like Jaisalmer, Sirohi, Barmer and Jalore will be given priorities.
 
The companies which were roped in for the training purpose are already working in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Noida, Bhopal, Mumbai, Tamil Nadu and Delhi, he added.
