The Kerala High court directed revaluation of the Post Graduate Medical Entrance examination of 2012-13 of at least six candidates who approached the court complaining of wrong answer keys.
A Division Bench, comprising Chief Justice Manjula Chellur and Justice A M Shafique, gave the direction on a batch of petitions by Dr Navin and few others complaining of wrong answer keys of some questions of the entrance exam.
As directed by the court, Advocate General K P Dandapani submitted two sealed covers giving opinion of experts on the controversial answer keys pertaining to dental and medical courses.
Twentysix answers in the answer keys were incorrect, according to petitioners. The bench directed the government to evaluate the answers of the appellants with reference to opinion of experts only on disputed questions and file a report in a sealed cover.
The bench also asked the authorities and government to inform the ranking that may be secured by modification of marks. The case has been posted to October 30.
