Rajasthan government will introduce 'Student Police Cadet' programme in 21 schools of the state in next fiscal year.
Chief minister Ashok Gehlot gave his approval to start the project initially for two years, according to an official spokesperson.
The schools, three each in seven ranges of the state, will be selected for the programme, under which students are trained to evolve as future leaders by inculcating a respect for law, discipline, civic sense, empathy for vulnerable sections of society and resistance to social evils.
