J&K students on Educational cum Motivational Tour organised by the army

A group of 17 school girls from Bandipora of Jammu and Kashmir, during the "Educational cum Motivational Tour" organised by the Army, interacted with Punjab Governor Shivraj Patil at Raj Bhavan here.
 
Patil asked the girl students to maintain a diary and later narrate their experiences to the people of Jammu and Kashmir as well as the students of their respective schools, an official release said here.
 
Appreciating the move of the Indian Army, he said such educational tours to other parts of the country would help in strengthening the bond of mutual love and understanding.
 
"Such tours provide opportunity to students from the Valley to interact with people, to increase awareness and understanding," the governor said.
 
Prior to the Chandigarh trip, the students visited Agra and Delhi. They informed Patil about the memorable time they had while visiting places of historical and academic interests, the release said.
