Seminar on home science curriculum

Coimbatore:  A two-day seminar on 'Gearing home science curriculum towards better career prospects' would begin here tomorrow.

Talking to reporters here today, Dr Saroja Prabhakar, Vice-Chancellor, Avinashilingam University for Women, the organisors said over 500 delegates, including 350 students, across the southern states were expected to participate in the seminar.

The recommendations of seminar would be forwarded to the Centre and State governments for approval and for implementation from next academic year.
