Asian Education Leadership Award Committee honours professor of University of Nizwa

Dr. S. Arockiasamy, Assistant Dean and HOD of Information Systems, University of Nizwa was awarded “Best Professor in Information Technology” by Asian Education Leadership Award Committee for the Year 2012-13.

He, received this award in a special function organized at Taj Palace Hotel, Dubai on 25th September 2012.

This award is for his significant contributions towards teaching in India and abroad.

On receiving this award, Dr. Arockiasamy said, “This award is the recognition for my hard work and sincerity for my 23 years teaching career. I will continue my efforts to educate my students in order to help them reach better position in their life. I thank almighty god for his showering blessings on me throughout my career”.

Dr. Arockiasamy obtained his Masters degree from Bharathidasan University, MPhil and his Doctorate from Bharathiar University, India. He is currently the Assistant Dean for Training and Head of the Department of Information Systems. He is also serving as a member of University Academic Council at University of Nizwa. He has about 23 years of vast experience in teaching in India and Abroad.
