57 schools upgraded in Dharmapuri

Dharmapuri: Fifty-seven schools have been upgraded to the next higher level in Dharmapuri district.
 
According to a government order, 54 primary schools, one middle school and two high schools have been upgraded to the next higher level during the year 2009-10.

The government has ordered to start a new Government Girls Higher Secondary School by bifurcating the Adhiyamankottai Government Higher Secondary School, according to sources in the education department.
