Assisting to improve the basic facilities in govt LP Schools

Basic tools of education including notebooks and pencils would be missing at government lower primary schools though they may have qualified teachers.

As part of its CSR activities, Terumo Penpol Limited went forth with assisting Government LP schools in Vilappil Panchayat and neighbor areas in Thiruvananthapuram to improve their basic facilities.

In its most recent venture, the company has distributed stationery items including note books, pencils, pens, different types of charts and models and sports items which included cricket kit, badminton kit, volleyball, football and carom board and umbrellas to students of Ashadeep School at Malayankeezhu.

It also distributed food grains for one month consumption to the Government Lower Primary School Malayannkeezhu. Many projects have been undertaken in four schools so far.

This includes upgrading of the school kitchen, building basic toilet facilities for boys and girls, building a new class room, collecting books for the school library, donating school uniforms and school bags, etc.
