Gujarat CM felicitates teachersfor their outstanding contribution in the field of education.

The Gujarat government plans to set-up eco-friendly and sports school in each district in the state.

Announcing this new initiative on the commencement of 30-day 'Vivekanand Reading Festival' for students of primary schools on Sept 11, who were found during the 'Gunotsav programme' with this particular weakness, the Chief Minister, Narendra Modi said, Gujarat is the first state to come up with Indian Institute of Teacher's Education with a view to produce great teachers. He appealed the young generation to take up the courses of the institute if they desire to become good teachers and build career in the field of education.

Modi felicitated 22 teachers and distributed prizes for their outstanding contribution in the field of education.
