Tata Steel donates Rs 1.15 cr to upgrade facilities in schools

Steel major Tata Steel has given Rs 1.15 crore to the All India Women's Conference (AIWC) for construction and upgradation of facilities at three schools in the steel city here.

In a release here, the company said it would bear the expenses in instalments for the projects estimated to to cost Rs five crore in total.
 
Tata Steel Managing Director H M Nerurkar had handed over a cheque of Rs 1.15 crore to AIWC chairperson Surekha Nerurkar at a function here.
