IIT-Bombay to conduct technology event in Orissa

Bhubaneswar: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)-Bombay will conduct an event in Orissa's Rourkela this year to promote new generation technologies.

The "Nexus-2009" will be held Oct 10 in the National Institute of Technology (NIT) campus in Rourkela, an official statement said today.

Nexus is part of "Techfest" - the annual international science and technology festival the IIT has been organising since 1998 to promote robotics across the country.

This year's event would focus on wireless communication technologies, IIT-Bombay's Techfest office said in the press release.
