Schools closed for heavy rain as a safety measure

In the wake of heavy rains, the district administration has instructed private and government schools to declare a holiday for nursery to Class VI students for a day.
 
District Magistrate Naveen Mahajan said the decision has been taken keeping in mind the safety of students.
 
Twelve persons have died and many have been evacuated from their homes due to heavy rains in Rajasthan where the incessant downpour has brought normal life to a standstill.
