IIM announces CAT 2012 date

Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) has announced that the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2012 will be conducted from October 11 to November 6, 2012. IIM Kozhikode will be coordinating the test this year.

Application vouchers will be available at authorised registration windows from July 30 to September 17; while online registrations will begin on www.catiim.in between July 30 and September 19. Results will be announced on January 9.

The test comprises two sections—quantitative ability and data interpretation, and verbal ability and logical reasoning. Both sections, consisting of 30 questions each, will be of one hour and ten minutes (i.e. 70 minutes).
