Quiz focusing solely on the Heritage of India for students

Cycle Heritage Quiz 2012, a quiz focusing solely on the Heritage of India, for schools students, conducted by Cycle Pure Agarbathies,  concluded here at Chinmaya Heritage Centre, Chetpet.

Over 250 teams from about 60 schools participated in the contest. Conducted in three rounds, questions in the quiz were focused on the rich heritage of India including, epics, Mythology, origins of festivals and traditions and more.

The chief guest for the event was Mr. Arjun Ranga , Managing Director, Cycle Pure Agarbathies. The Quiz was conducted by TV anchor, Mr.Gopinath

Cycle Heritage Quiz was initiated in 2011 with an objective of encouraging young minds to learn more about the Countrys rich art forms, culture, tradition and history.

The team of Pooja and Vasanth Raj from S.R.D.F.Vivekananda Vidyalaya were declared the champion team, with the team from Chinmaya Vidyalaya squeezing in for the first runner-up position followed by the Chetinad Vidyashram team taking the second runner-up slot.

Special awards were awarded to the teams from P.S.B.B. School, A.M.M Mt.Hr.School and New Prince Mt.Hr.School.
