Free training in various technical courses at the Govt. ITI till June 29

Last date for students to enroll for free training in various technical courses at the Govt. ITI is June 29.

According to a press release made by the Additional Director of Technical Education, students admission to various free technical courses offered at Govt. ITI, on the Kovai- Mettupalayam Highway is going on currently.

The institute offers training to boys and girls in 21 fields including Mechanical, Computer Operator Programme, Electrical and Welding.  In the segment of Manufacturing and Production, it also has an intake capacity of 126.

Free bus passes to commute from residence to the institute are provided to those joining these trainings. On the basis of community and family income, students are also provided with annual financial assistance of Rs1680/, Rs1800/ and Rs2000/.

Students having completed 8,10 and 12 classes can apply for these trainings. Job opportunities are also provided through campus interview for all those successfully complete the training.

All those willing to join these trainings can send their applications to Govt. ITI, Mettupalayam Road, Kovai before June 29, the release stated.
