Chinese Academy of Sciences honours Indian scientist

"Prof C N R Rao of the Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research has been invited as Einstein Professor at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, awarded each year to distinguished scientists actively working at the frontiers of science and technology," the JNCASR said in a release.
 
It said the recipients of this award are recognised as the international leaders in their respective field of specialisation.
 
As Einstein Professor, Prof Rao would be delivering lectures across the leading Chinese institutions.
