Stipends for SC/ST/ OBC students

Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, Sushil Modi, said, the Bihar government would give stipends to 1.25 crore students from the scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, extremely backward class and backward class during 2012-13,
 
Modi said the stipends would be of Rs 1000 each.
 
The attendance of SC, ST, OBC, EBCs studnets and from other weaker sections would be taken into account for the stipends.
