Hyderabad: S V V R Educational Society (SVVRES) promoted by Sagar Group of Industries, today announced the establishment of its first integrated educational institution in Andhra Pradesh.
The campus set up in 45 acre will house Food and Agribusiness School (FABS) and Sagar Institute of Technology (SITECH) and will come up at Chevalla in Ranga Reddy district.
Announcing this, SVVRES Director K Prathap Reddy said, 'This is our maiden venture in the education field, and as an industrial group, we will have better industrial interaction to mould the students as per actual industry requirements.'
The institute is offering 2-year, fully residential Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Agriculture Business) with three streams of specialisation-international agriculture, agri business finance and agri business marketing.
'To meet the huge demand for agribusiness professionals and provide the best talent in the industry,SVVRES has established food and agri business school,' said SVVRES Vice-President B Guruva Reddy.
SITECH is affiliated to JNTU, Hyderabad and approved by AICTE. It will offer undergraduate programs in Civil, Electrical, Electronics and Communications and Computer Science engineering streams, said a release.
The inauguration of FABS and SITECH would be held on August 8, wherein Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, Union Minister for Urban Development S Jaipal Reddy among others will participate, the release added
