BIL signs MOU with German Management Institute

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between BSE Institute Ltd (BIL), Mumbai and the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, Frankfurt, Germany on March 28.

Ambarish Datta, MD and CEO of BSE Institute Ltd, and Ingolf Jungmann, MD and VP of the Frankfurt School, validated it in a  ceremony that took place in the Frankfurt School’s campus in Frankfurt, Germany.

The aim of the MoU is to conduct joint training programmes in financial markets in both Germany and India. Both institutions appreciate each other’s objectives in promoting excellence in professional education in the field of capital and financial spheres.

The parties agreed to provide a framework and cooperate in planning and developing relevant activities for the successful implementation of projects.

The scope of the MoU involves the launching of Joint Certificate Programs and Post Graduate Programs for a duration of six months to one year, study missions and visits to Frankfurt commencing from September 2012, student exchange and internship opportunities for FS students to come to India and vice-versa and launching of joint programs for Senior Executives in India.

These are planned as Management Development Programs (MDP) with duration of one to two days. The Frankfurt School may also use (BIL’s) training facilities to organise independent training programs.
 
Ingolf Jungmann, MD and VP of the Frankfurt School, Germany, said “Based on the excellent relations between Germany and India, and our countries’ common goal to strengthen and develop cooperation’s, the Frankfurt School is delighted to widen its relationship with BSE. International student exchange and international management education are the keys to foster mutual understanding.’’ 

Ambarish Datta, MD and CEO, BSE Institute Ltd also said, “Indo-German development cooperation has continuously evolved to meet the changing demands and new global challenges. This collaboration between the BSE Institute and the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management will help groom the truly global finance professional who is skilled at traversing the developed and emerging market economies with equal dexterity.”
