Uttar Pradesh government asked teachers to inform concerned District Magistrates before venturing out of the districts in a bid to strengthen primary education in the state.
Ram Govind Chowdhury, Basic Education Minister, said, if any Basic Shiksha Adhikar leaves his concerned district without prior information, strict action would be initiated against him.
The Minister also directed various officers of the Basic Education Department to ensure publication of academic books, to be distributed among the children, before the commencement of next session in July.
