Gemba school of HR career counseling for students

Most college students are baffled by the question -“Whats their calling in life? ”

Its never been an easy choice. Todays students have to be educated about various career options and counseled to select the right career. Choosing the right career is of paramount importance to achieve success in life.

Apart from possessing employable skills, students require the right counseling about career options that would suit ones traits.

“Career Counsel 2012 ”- an event conceptualized and conducted by Gemba School of HR provided an ideal platform for students to understand what career building is all about and how one can effectively get transitioned from college to corporate environment.

The event was held at Russian Centre of Science and Culture, Chennai on 2nd March 2012. Students from various Arts & Science and Engineering Colleges in and around Chennai participated in the event.

Eminent speakers from corporate fraternity highlighted industry expectations from the students and enlightened them  about making right career choice.

This event also comprised of an interactive session on “Campus to Corporate ”- How to survive and thrive in corporate world.

Dr.R.Karthikeyan, Director of GEMBA School of HR,  emphasized on the students to realize the importance of passion to achieve career success.

Students also showcased their talent in public speaking skill and the winners were awarded for their performance.
