Kerala might soon have a state-of-the-art academic city as talks are on with a Dubai-based organisation to set up the city in Kerala, the state assembly was informed.
PK Abdu Rabb, education minister, Kerala, said, “The academic city is being planned on the lines of the Dubai Knowledge Village. This would see various courses that would be run by numerous foreign universities. The course curriculum and the faculty would be coming from the various universities and it would offer courses that are generally not offered by the universities in the state.”
The students who are expected to take admission to these courses would come from within the state and country as well as from abroad.
