What is the vision with which a school should function?
Ans: The present generation definitely knowledgeable but just lack the focus on achievement. This seems to be diluted due to their unfocused attitude which keeps them at tight corners to reach success.
Keeping this in view ,schools should have proper vision to streamline the path of the student.The vision of the school becomes unique when it is able to visualize the academic needs of the learner,maintain qualitative faculty members,develop a positive school climate,provide necessary infrastructural facilities and enhance social conscience.
What do young people need for the future?
Ans: Young people need:
l Quality mentoring to lead them to the right path.
l Learning to be made relevant to life.
l Build characters and qualities.
l To be resourceful,adaptable,self-confident,creative and self-managing.
l Good presentation and people skills with critical thinking.
What is the school's responsibility and teacher's role in the changing world?
Ans: Schools and teachers do not exist in isolation but should function to serve the changing needs of both the individual and the society.
Apart from schools providing adequate infrastructural facilities ,the most crucial factor is the quality of interaction that occurs between the learner and the teacher.
So the teachers must develop their teaching competencies,improve professional duties and responsibilities, increase personal attributes and finally quality control .
On the other hand ,schools should provide the best ambiance ,infrastructure and pay attention to increase the teachers status by providing reward with career and promotion pathways.
